Exec Placements

Statistics for 2011

Executive Job Market only

Executive level:  Director, VP, C-Level

Compensation: $200,000.00 – $2.9 Million

Covering 22 separate industry disciplines

 2011- 82% placed (27 total placements)

We had a very good year in the PE space with 11 placements, mostly with Gores and Blackstone portfolio managers.

We find real jobs in these 3 verticals:

  1. 1) The retained executive recruiters network (also known as the hidden job market)
  2. 2) PE/VC space
  3. 3) Other (boards, our placed network, referrals)

We set up and executed hiring manager interviews for 100% of our clients in 2011

The biggest change we made in our system was to focus on the candidate presentation—this included our proprietary executive profile and 2 other documents which allowed our candidates a free pass through most HR screenings directly into the hiring manager.

A single job posting of $200K yields approximately 750 resumes the first 2 days and over 2,000 the next 5 days

(Statistical Data comes from a executive recruiter pool of approximately 2400 recruiters nation wide and a supply/ demand portal with 90,000,000 candidates)

Supply and demand

  • Jobs represent 58.4%
  • Candidate pool represents 117%

A high supply of candidates for any job discipline will create a demand for help (pressure) within the candidate supply

A low supply of candidates for any industry will create a demand for help within that company’s that are in need of candidates

(The discipline that has shown the biggest growth in terms of job creation recently is that of Services, which is has grown over 20% from 2010)

Here is where the job creation action is:
